Last day

Finally I am done! Today was great! I finally feel like I actually ran the race really well. I feel great after today. This project has put me through a lot of hard challenges but I have fought through it. Everything my mentor told me to do with the shins and cramps helped, I didn't have any. This 5k was great and I actually plan to run another one after all this project is over with at my old school. This will be my last blog and it has been a great journey through this whole process. I would like to thank my mentor Rick Kattouf  for everything he has done. Also my mom has helped me through everything. She has been there the whole time. It is finished!!!

Wow I can't believe that the last races is finally here. I saved the last one for the easiest race, the 5k. A 5k in half of a 10k and I have already done two of those. I am going to train hard until the day before the race and rest that day. I am going to continue eating well and stretching as well as doing my shin exercises. It should be great!

With these new exercises I have felt so much better while running. These last few days have been great and I am going to keep on going hard and my next races is coming up. So close to being done with the product!

Its a couple of days after the race. I am feeling better now but my shins are still hurting. I have spoken to my mentor and he gave me some exercises to do to help shin splints. I am going to start doing those everyday before I run.

Today was the day of the race and it sucked. It sucked because I didn't beat my time and its not because I cramped up. I felt great going into the race and I ran the first mile straight through. But a little after that mile I started having shin splints. Wow it hurt so bad. I was able to finish the race but with a bad bad time. I am going to ask my mentor how I can prevent shin splints and hopefully he knows something that can help me.

Its the Wednesday before Ryan's race. I am going to train today and rest the next couple of days and try to stretch out before the race day. This race should be interesting to see how I did from last race to this one.

Today was ok. I feel very tired for some reason but its a Sunday. Tomorrow I have school and soccer so I hope I will be ready for that. I need to eat better then I did today. We went to eat at my Grandmas' so it was very good but not good for me.

The race is getting closer and closer. I am training harder and harder more than ever. I have been drinking ecodrink and energy shakes which is good for you. I will be ready for the race.

My next race is coming up soon and I have just started drinking this drink called ecodrink. This drink helps cramps and has tons of vitamins. This is going to help me much in the up coming weeks.

These last couple of games have been great! I've been running and working out everyday. I just need to keep it up. I have been eating right also. This week has been great so far and I plan for it to be great the rest of the week also.

Week after 10k race

This last week has been very good. I have been so busy that it is very hard to blog every day about what I've done. Last Saturday a ran my first 10k! It was good to get it done. I ran/walked it. During the race my calf started hurting, it was cramping up and also had shin splints. I got through it and have my first 5k this week. It is going to be a great race, I hope to do well in it and drink and eat stuff before, during, and after the race to  replenish everything my body needs.

 I feel like its been so much longer then it actually has. Only about a month until I am done with the project! Just gonna keep on pushing on and try to run faster and harder then I normally do.

Today was the day of the race. My calves cramped up a lot during the race which slowed down my time. I ate a banana before the race and it didn't help. I need to contact my mentor and ask him what I should do. I'm very tired 6.2 miles does that to you.

This last week or so a lot has happened. I have been to the doctor and had the allergy testing. The found out that I am allergic to cats, dust, dust mites and mold. I am going to have to take allergy shots starting in 2 weeks.  I hope they can get me off the medicine that is causing all these running problems. I am still doing well in soccer and have been running a lot. Today i'm not going to be able to do anything because I'm sick and had to come home early but tomorrow should be a great day!

Yesterday was brutal we had a lot of hills that we had to run. I've been running but hills are a different they work all the muscles is your legs. We did 40 backwards hills and 10 front. Today is a break day so I am going to rest today.

I haven't blogged in a while which I need to start doing more often. Since my last blog I have finished basketball and now I have my first soccer scrimmage today. I have been running a lot and sticking to my schedule. I have my first run this Saturday and then a 10k in a couple of weeks. I have to keep on running and doing what is on schedule and I will be fine.

These last couple of days have been really busy like I said. It has been hard trying to find time to do everything but iv'e done as much as I can. I worked out but running takes longer. I ran a little and iv'e been eating well to.

I have been running the last couple of days like I said I would be. I feel pretty good right now. I am still trying to eat well and plan on keeping up the hard work. These next couple of days are going to be really busy so I just need to find the time to do everything.

Today was a good day. I didn't go to the gym today but I worked out with what I had at a friends house. Today I didn't have much to eat at all. I had muffins for breakfast and a cheese burger for dinner. I did all strength exercise today and tomorrow I think i'm getting back to running.

Today I was very sore from work out so much the last couple of days. I feel it in my biceps and upper body. Today a ran a good bit especially at basketball. We scrimmaged the whole time so that helps me get my stamina up. Also I haven't had any bad stuff to eat today. Just going to keep this up and keep running.

These last few day have been really good. I've been working out and also been eating better. I've done everything that I am suppose to according to the work out plan and i'm still getting ready for that first race.

These last few days have been great! I have made a new schedule along with my mentor for my changed project. I have been following this schedule very closely and I find that it is working very well. My first race is coming up soon and I'll be ready for it. I an still on my medications which doesn't help what so ever but I believe I can get through it and take on the challenge!

Today isn't one of those great days. I did everything that I've suppose to be doing but I feel like crap. I haven't been breaking out a lot my arms but still its been affecting me. Why can it not just go away for good. I'm tired of all this medicine!

Today I had senior project and I got a lot done in there. I finished my paper that verifies the project changes that I made and were approved by the committee. Today I also talked to my mentor Rick Kattouf. We now have a new plan and work out routine for the up coming months. This will allow me to do my project to its full potential.

Change

Today I woke up and went to church. I didn't run today because I was broken out in hives my hand and my lip was swelling up. I am probably going to have to start taking a higher dose of mt medicine again to get it to go down. I have reached the committee and they are allowing me to change my senior project from 3 half marathons to one 5k and two 10ks'. This will be much more due able because the medicine has hurt me in the long run. I have also talked to my mentor he said they we will talk tomorrow. Hopefully I can get off this medicine as soon as possible but until then I will just keep pushing on.

Today I ran a lot. All of it was in basketball we ran at least 16 suicides on the basketball court. That was all sprints. Today I haven't had very much to eat. This mourning I had some bacon and eggs and toast. In the afternoon I had chick-fil-a. I have been feeling bad throughout the day, but I got through it. I guess that's what matter right. Tomorrow should be another good day. Just keep running.

Today I haven't done very much. I am going to take an off day and keep it up tomorrow. Today we ate at my grandmas' house therefore I didn't eat very good, all i had was biscuits and grave. Tomorrow I will work out again and keep it up.
